IT Project Manager - Hybrid

Job Description:

As an IT Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including large-scale application development, systems integration, and operational improvements. The role will require experience in both traditional project management and scaled agile methodologies as the organization transitions to a scaled agile model. You will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, ensure high-caliber deliverables, and work closely with stakeholders and team members to meet strategic goals and drive execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and deliver multiple strategic initiatives across business, operational, and IT deliverables
• Ensure high-quality results with clearly articulated scope and measurable business benefits
• Manage large-scale, complex projects involving multiple partners and constituents
• Oversee all phases of project life cycle and rigorously manage scope, timelines, and budgets
• Validate financial forecasts and track resources, ensuring accurate capacity planning
• Define and track project milestones, maintaining integrated delivery plans
• Manage project risks and issues and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
• Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to support Agile development practices
• Foster strong team relationships and facilitate conflict resolution
• Mentor and guide team members, helping to remove roadblocks and drive project success
  
  

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 8 years of experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects, focusing on technical and system environments
• Proven experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and others
• Strong financial management skills, with experience handling project budgets over $3M
• Ability to communicate effectively with officer-level audiences and stakeholders
• Expertise in various software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and SAFe
• Proven track record of building trust, mobilizing teams, and delivering results in ambiguous environments
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Strongly preferred experience in scaled agile methodologies
• Background in contact center technology (phone/IVR, chat, SMS)
• Financial services industry experience is a plus
• PMP or PMI-ACP certification
  
  

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
