Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development to lead our growth efforts, focusing on building strategic partnerships, expanding market opportunities, and securing funding. You will play a key role in identifying new business prospects, fostering long-term relationships with investors, and working closely with the executive team to drive our company's growth in the biotech and life sciences space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with Cyclarity Therapeutics' goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, licensing deals, and joint ventures.
  • Lead fundraising efforts by building relationships with venture capital firms, pharma ventures, angel investors, and other potential partners.
  • Actively engage in outreach to pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare organizations to foster collaboration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the scientific and executive teams to communicate Cyclarity’s value proposition and product pipeline to potential partners and investors.
  • Manage and grow existing business relationships, ensuring long-term partnership success.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify and seize growth opportunities.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings to represent Cyclarity Therapeutics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Proven track record of securing partnerships, funding, or licensing deals in the biotech or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process and regulatory environment within the biotech space.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A passion for science and technology, with an understanding of cardiovascular disease or related therapeutic areas being a plus.
