Purpose Statement
The Cook position was created to assist in the daily food production and operations of the kitchen, adhering to company procedures and guidelines, while providing high-quality, professional service to every guest.
Main Responsibilities
- Work on-site with a current Food Handler's Card to ensure all food storage and preparation meet federal, state, and local guidelines, as per company policies and procedures.
- Prepare food consistent with designated recipes and timing standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations, storerooms, and workstations.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots/pans, knives, utensils, glassware, and dishware according to company procedures.
- Evaluate the dishwasher's performance regularly.
- Report any safety issues related to equipment or restaurant maintenance.
- Follow meal recipes and menus accurately.
- Assist in promoting a culture of teamwork.
- Report inventory needs to management to ensure supplies are available.
- Comply with company procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures.

Working Environment
This role is primarily conducted indoors, with some outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Walk and stand for entire shift minus break times.
- Perform small motor movements associated with cutting, pouring, reaching, holding, and grabbing objects.
- Have visual acuity to read recipes, safety instructions, and critical information.
- Hear and understand verbal instructions when equipment operates, guest orders, and manager directions.
