Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required; travel experience preferred

License: Valid RN License required

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Mandatory

Job Description

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and taking proper action immediately.
• Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when a physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by a physician, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordination of activities between different professional disciplines.
• Document specific healthcare requirements for patients and prepare written assignments for individual team members, matching staff skills with patient care needs.
• Plan and develop care delivery, implement the care plan, and coordinate care documentation.
• Share responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment and ensure unit upkeep and safety.
• Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination record.
