- Shift:** Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week

- Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience, plus travel experience
- License:** Valid RN License
- Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Must-Have:** Ventilation experience
- Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, and prioritizing. Make immediate decisions and take proper action as necessary.
- Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.
- Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other specialized equipment.
- Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by a physician, including medications and IV therapy that alter hemodynamic status, and provide respiratory therapy and mechanical ventilation.
- Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
- Document specific healthcare requirements for patients and prepare written assignments for individual team members, matching skills and abilities to care requirements.
- Plan and develop care delivery, implement the plan, and coordinate the documentation of care.
- Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment as well as the general upkeep of the unit, and maintain a safe environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be aware of possible float to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units.
- Must work every other weekend and holidays, with required red scrubs.
