JOB TITLE: Logistics Manager
JOB PURPOSE: The Logistics Manager role ensures seamless inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, vendor management, cost optimization, and adherence to high operational standards. This position requires hands-on expertise in luxury goods transportation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to excellence in logistics operations. This role will support and optimize our supply chain, fulfillment, and client support functions. This role will be critical in ensuring operational efficiency, seamless customer experiences, and overall business growth.
Logistics & Distribution Operations
- Oversee daily inbound/outbound transportation for apparel, fashion accessories, and small leather goods across all sales channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale, dropship).
- Proactively track shipments, resolve delays, and manage escalations to ensure timely and smooth deliveries.
- Optimize domestic and international transportation operations
- Coordinate logistics for international shipments involving commercial invoices, packing list, etc…, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations.
- Review and validate freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual terms.
- Assist with logistics budget forecasting, cost tracking, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain updated inventory records in Shopify, monitor Warehouse’s transfers/cycle counts, deadstock managing, and ensure inventory availability across all channels (Ecomm, Retail, Wholesale, and Dropship)
- Support retail teams with inventory replenishment and resolve stock discrepancies.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for shipping carriers, 3PLs, and warehouse providers.
- Monitor service levels, initiate corrective action plans when needed, and foster strong vendor relationships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (E-commerce, Production, Wholesale, Customer Service) to align logistics with business goals.
- Support wholesale customers with PO management, order tracking, market order entry, reorders, and RTVs.
- Resolve escalated wholesale and DTC delivery inquiries to ensure a premium customer experience.
Customer Experience & Order Fulfillment
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing and fulfillment within target delivery windows.
- Provide real-time shipping updates and communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Track packages, handle exceptions, resolve disputes, and manage carrier communication to guarantee a best-in-class post-purchase experience.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement enhancements to logistics processes, improving visibility, efficiency, and reporting.
- Maintain and refine SOPs for all transportation and handling activities.
- Lead or support special projects focused on strategy, vendor optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2 years of logistics experience in the fashion industry
- Experience managing 3PL relationships and optimizing logistics strategies
- Proficient with Shopify (required), ERP, EDI, and warehouse/order management systems (ApparelMagic is a plus); RLM & Joor a plus,
- Strong understanding of domestic & international logistics, including incoterms, customs compliance, and small parcel distribution.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Based in New York City; ability to work on-site M–F, 10am–6pm.
