Accounting Manager
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45242 (Hybrid 1 day a week)
Pay: $115-$140K
General Overview
We’re looking for a proactive leader to oversee our accounting operations, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping our financial strategy and supporting the company’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead Core Accounting Operations – Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, revenue recognition, general ledger, and month-end close processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Ensure GAAP Compliance – Maintain the integrity of financial statements, interpret accounting rules, and address ad hoc financial requests.
- Develop and Document Policies – Establish and update accounting policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Intercompany Reconciliation – Oversee financial statements across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate intercompany balances and handling transfer pricing invoices.
- Ensure Balance Sheet Accuracy – Conduct or review monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and credit cards, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Provide Financial Reporting – Generate and distribute monthly financial statements, delivering key insights to leadership.
- Optimize Costs & Revenue – Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth to support the financial strategy.
- Oversee Cash Flow Management – Maintain and review weekly cash flow forecasts, providing finance management with informed projections.
- Support Tax Compliance – Collaborate with external accountants and internal teams to facilitate income, sales, and other tax filings.
- Coordinate External Financial Reviews – Work with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in Budgeting & Forecasting – Support the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts by analyzing actual results and refining projection models.
- Lead Projects & Team Development – Manage finance-related automation initiatives, reporting projects, and system implementations while mentoring accounting team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; and CPA
- 7 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. (Public accounting experience is a plus but not required.)
- Industry experience in marketing, SaaS, or agency services is a strong advantage.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SaaS or service revenue recognition.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP implementations is a plus.
- Experience managing finance, accounting, and tax support for international subsidiaries.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Salary : $115,000 - $140,000
