What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Programmer position at Cypress HCM?
A client that manufactures plastic injection molds is looking to hire a CMM Programmer onsite in Forest Lake, Minnesota for their quality team. This direct hire employee will work on 1st shift and be responsible for understanding, communicating, and verifying conformance to internal and external quality standards of their products while also being the go-to CMM programmer.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience programming and operating CMM's is required.
- Knowledge of systems implementation including ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Experience with basic and advanced measurement tools (OGP, Trimos, tool scopes, etc.);
- Knowledge of blue print reading / GDT
- Understanding of component and/or mold manufacturing and ability to make decisions on in process tolerancing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business operating systems
- Acute eye for details during inspections.
- Understanding of modern manufacturing processes
What You'll Do:
- Program and operate CMM
- Initiate, perform and maintain inspection instructions for receiving, in-process and final inspections.
- Develop and adapt inspection equipment to meet quality standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
- Investigate and determine cause of quality issues; assist production and other personnel with Corrective Action process.
- Assist in the handling and documentation of nonconforming product.
- Assist in maintaining the calibration system.
Hourly Pay Rate of $30 - $40 health benefits & PTO
