This exciting role will be responsible for coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of inbound and outbound shipments at the facility. Excellent communication skills and prior warehouse experience will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Burlington, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV Modules for the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities :
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Perform Logistics activities including but not limited to shipping, receiving (piece parts and repairs), packing, and inventory management
- Maintain departmental records to ensure manufacturing ISO compliance.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new supplies as needed to ensure that products are available when needed
- Provides staff assistance to the Warehouse Manager
- Oversee and monitor the availability of stock to reduce shortages
- Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to top management
- Develop, articulate, and maintain logistic process documentation
- Liaise with the internal departments regarding stock management of finished goods
- Create and provide international shipping documentation as needed
