Job Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Distribution. This role supports Commercial Distributors. Responsible for managing a team of direct and indirect customers at the West Hartford and Kansas City facilities. This role serves all Commercially Marketed Brands, namely, CZ, Colt and Dan Wesson.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support Dir. Of Dist. in managing DOS reporting monthly with key stakeholders
- Support Dir. Of Dist. in creating a monthly Sales FCST Platform for Commercial Products
- Work with key Distributor data that feeds the STEP Demand Planning Meeting, held monthly with, KC and UB
- Increase targeted revenues and gross margins, as they support the companys P&L
- Work as an extension of the Commercial Business Team
- Be an international support for Customer Service and Operations ongoing

Work within ERP system to very accurately and timely:
- Process and manage sales orders
- Use integrated CRM functions to maintain detailed customer profiles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties to ensure a high level of communication and understanding
- Participate in internal and external educational opportunities to ensure continuous learning and professional growth
- Complete other tasks assigned by Supervisor
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Timely and regular attendance is required to ensure workflow is not interrupted
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist all employees in department in completing their work when necessary
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Education
Bachelors degree preferred in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
Required Experience & Skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL preferred)
- Extremely detail oriented
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Minimum of one (1) year outside sales; major account management experience
- Must have extensive knowledge and familiarity of firearms, related accessories and firearms industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and be friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage deadlines
- Ability to be extremely accurate
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in the Epicor system, or similar accounting system
- Ability to use email and phone extensions
