We are seeking experienced Construction Forepersons with a strong background in all trades and specialties to lead our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee crew production and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Lead by example in areas of safety, work quality, and work ethic.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in bridge, general heavy highway, and/or marine construction.
- 8 years of experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with great interpersonal abilities.
- A valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on time.
- Proficient knowledge of NYSDOT and/or VTrans standard specifications.
- Ability to travel and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working with various construction materials and equipment.
- Familiarity with construction software and technology.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor construction sites with varying weather conditions.
