Collins Family of Companies is an ideal place to grow your career. The Accounts Receivable Associate will provide financial, clerical, and administrative support to the Accounts Receivable Manager. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The position also involves regular collaboration with Sales and Operations teams. Knowledge of New York State sales tax laws is preferred.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Review, edit, and post daily sales tickets from multiple locations across four materials companies
• Generate weekly invoices and monthly account statements
• Process customer payments and adjustments
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist in the monthly A/R close process
• Enter pricing updates for products
• Convert price quotes to customer orders
• Perform other related tasks as assigned (flexibility and a hands-on approach are essential)

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours as needed during peak season

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Base Salary Range: $22-$24/hour

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
