ABOUT THE ROLE
Work Schedule & Location : This full-time role is based in Vancouver, WA . You'll typically work Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, but flexibility is required to meet project deadlines and urgent needs.
As a Plumbing Purchasing and Materials Specialist - Project Coordinator Assistant , your day starts early, ensuring every vehicle is properly stocked and all materials for current jobs are ready to go. You monitor inventory levels, reorder as needed, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals. Throughout the day, you work with project managers and technicians, solving issues in real-time, tracking tool check-ins and check-outs, and auditing purchases to keep operations on track. Whether analyzing purchasing trends or working with warehouse staff to organize stock, you make sure every tool and part is where it needs to be-right on time.
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered :
- Experience in purchasing, especially in plumbing or construction materials
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for supplier interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Strong negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Understanding of plumbing and HVAC materials and their applications
