D1 Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator
The Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator will assist with D1’s digital marketing efforts, create compelling marketing copy, and manage D1’s social media channels to achieve KPIs that drive the growth of D1 and its brand. This position will report to D1’s Director of Digital Marketing and work closely with D1’s Director of Media & Content to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
- Manage the organic social strategy for the main D1 brand channels, scaling D1’s social presence and driving follower growth and engagement across key social platforms
- Execute and scale campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube, and continuously innovate on opportunities for channel expansion
- Develop a social content strategy and calendar that highlights key messaging and year-round storytelling, optimizes D1’s brand and expands lead generation
- Manage the social content calendar, including posting, responding promptly to DMs, comments and messages
- Proactively initiate and engage in relevant and trending conversations that align with D1’s mission, partnerships, and media relations
- Measure success of social media campaigns based on established KPIs
- Monitor D1’s presence and placement of all reputation/review sites (Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Yelp, Reddit and Facebook) and manage local digital setup when needed
- Develop content across various platforms, emphasizing storytelling that highlights the D1 brand, local franchisees, partners and the athletes who train in our locations
- Create customer-facing copy for emails, blogs, branded content, websites, presentations, podcasts, etc.
- Support D1’s nationwide digital strategy for Franchisor/ Franchise development by driving lead generation, brand awareness, and franchise growth
- Maintain and promote D1’s franchise website with digital updates, audits and SEO strategy
- Support D1’s editorial strategy for public-facing content, including email newsletters and articles
- Assist with digital strategy and SEO for main D1Training.com pages
- Assist with high-level SEO for all location pages on D1Training.com
- Oversee recommendations from agencies, partners, vendors and contractors regarding digital marketing to D1 Franchisees
- Provide digital marketing educational tools and resources to franchisees on how to drive awareness and build digital and social media campaigns. Assist with the development of playbooks, templates, and supporting materials to drive success.
D1 Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator qualifications:
Required skills and qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in digital marketing or content creation
- Experience writing for consumers and/or copywriting
- Good knowledge or hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and Hubspot (or equivalent CRM software)
- Adept with social media/content analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Ability to think creatively, using inspiration inside and outside the franchise/training industry
- Knowledge in managing omni-channel campaigns that use paid digital marketing, email, texting and other digital channels
- Experience handling multiple segments and audiences, especially in terms of a website
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience collaborating with other departments
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, journalism or business
- Experience as a digital marketer
- Experience in project management, with a focus on digital marketing
