Summary:
This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting training programs company- wide, which improve staff job performance. This position is also responsible for preparing training materials, maintaining training records and providing support to the Learning and Development department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions primarily focused on Front Office positions (i.e. FSR/Teller, Greeter, Member Experience, Electronic Services, Operational Branch Management). Mentor new Tellers at various branch locations.
- Conduct Sales and Service training companywide.
- Designs, updates and coordinates written training and online materials, including but not limited to: Annual Compliance, Robbery, Harassment, and Product Knowledge testing to all staff and update training records accordingly.
- Develops criteria, measures and tracks training effectiveness, including written examinations and simulated activities. Tracks employee progress.
- Compile training materials; review information to revise training materials such as manuals, handouts, etc. to ensure information is always accurate and up to date.
- Assist the Director of Learning and Development in creating the training calendar and other special projects.
- Maintain calendar of employee training events and notify management of those that have not been completed.
- Coordinates scheduling of training facilities.
- Responsible for ensuring that all training facilities are clean, organized and secure before, during and after all training sessions.
- Orders and maintains training supplies as needed and coordination of various employee training and events.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.
- Provide other administrative support as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior training experience highly desirable.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in a financial institution.
- Knowledge and application of adult learning concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- Excellent organizational and general filing and typing skills are required.
