- Work Location: Waite Park, MN
- Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 per year
About the Role
The successful candidate will partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy. This includes current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives for employee internal development opportunities.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
