As a member of the Cab & Vocational Vehicle Documentation group, you have the opportunity to facilitate the creation and maintenance of the design engineering documentation needed to generate engineering design content onto customer orders and vehicle builds in the plants. You will work closely with internal departments: Design Engineering, Product Data Control, Launch & Change Management and other teams to implement a wide variety of engineering design projects, and utilize your skills to analyze issues and implement solutions. What You Drive at DTNA Coordinate, develop, review, and implement engineering design documentation changes. Using the Daimler IMACS/IMACS system, create and check documentation is support of engineering projects and per serial releases ensuring engineering standards and procedures are met. Interpret, analyze, and coordinate complex design changes relative to implementation dates while taking into account impacts to manufacturing and other areas of the company. Provide technical assistance to design engineering professionals in order to ensure accurate design documentation. Monitor and coordinate the overall timing and flow of engineering design releases for projects ensuring that schedules are being met. Support visual management projects, strategic projects (IMACS\IMACS , ERS ), and other efforts as needed. Advise management when changes to documentation standards and procedures are needed and assist in writing new standards and procedures. Audit engineering design release projects for documentation requirements and ensure documentation quality. Collaborate with design engineering to improve design documentation being published to our business partners and customers.
