Position Purpose
Assist Quality Assurance department in a variety of administrative support functions including document control, packaging coding, hold and release status and special projects.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
- Document control, review all processing and production records for CCP’s (Critical Control Points) and CIP’s (Clean In Place)
- Document review for accuracy and completeness
- Receive coding setup requests
- Enter coding information in JAZZ (company enterprise system)
- Setup coding in production printers
- Create coding mockups for customer approval
- Communicate coding information to production personnel
- Work with Packaging Coordinators in regards to coding specifications
- Strong organization, planning, follow-up, basic math, and accountability skills are paramount.
- This position will be responsible to coordinate activities with packaging coordinators, production supervisors and quality assurance.
- Make sure that all company policies; procedures and work rules are followed in regards to coding and document control.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Managers or other members of JP management.
- Special projects, including packaging specifications, raw material specifications, etc.
- Perform back-up duties as Document Control Coordinator
- Seek to improve training in skills required for the position
- Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, and Rules
- Create and maintain a safe working environment
- Create and maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Perform any other work duties as assigned.
- Work interdepartmentally with operations employees and managers to successfully meet their needs.
