Job Overview

Duties

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Serves as an administrator of the company's ERP system, Global Shop Solutions (GSS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows Operating Systems.
• Serves as an administrator for the company's network to ensure efficient and secure operations.
• Assist users with VPN connectivity and ensure secure remote access to company resources.
• Manage computer hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions in the help desk system.
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience.
• Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting network-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience in IT support or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
• Experience with help desk operations and customer service skills.
• Proficient in computer management tasks, including hardware setup and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
