The Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist serves as a central point of contact for clinical computer users, working alongside IT Technicians to triage support calls and tickets efficiently. This role is responsible for coordinating the delivery and return of IT equipment, ensuring accurate tracking, logistics, and inventory management. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist assists with IT-related staff onboarding, providing essential technical setup and entry-level clinical/technical training. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure smooth IT operations. The IT Support Specialist is expected to conduct themselves in alignment with the mission, values, and philosophy of this community health center. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure new hires receive the necessary hardware, software, and system access on their first day.
- Maintain the confidentiality and safety of patient health information by complying with organizational HIPAA Privacy and Security policies.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory, including tracking deliveries, returns, and availability.
