JOB SUMMARY:
Ensure guests have a positive experience by providing support over the phone and/or in the ticket booth by enforcing departmental standards and policies. The Customer Service Representative position is eligible for telework, meaning the representative may work from home.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Interact courteously with guests in person and/or over the phone
- Assist guests with booking tickets
- Answer general garden questions
- Maintain and enforce basic Dallas Arboretum policies
- Perform other duties, as assigned
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or G.E.D.
- Customer handling experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products)
- Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and or seasonal evening hours, when needed
- Telework eligible, however must reside within Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and be available to attend any or all required meetings onsite
