Representative, Guest Experience

The mission of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is to build and maintain a public venue that promotes the art, enjoyment and knowledge of horticulture while providing opportunities for education and research. JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure guests have a positive experience by providing support over the phone by enforcing departmental standards and policies. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Interact courteously with guests over the phone
• Assist guests with booking tickets
• Answer general garden questions
• Maintain and enforce basic Dallas Arboretum policies

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or G.E.D.
• Customer handling experience desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer experience required (Microsoft Office products)
• Physical ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors regardless of weather conditions
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and seasonal evening hours
