Position Summary
The Coordinator, Instruction and Programming Support is a highly engaging, student-centered leader responsible for curating and supporting a variety of professional development programs and formats that ensure case management professionals are equipped with timely and relevant research-based practices that support student access, persistence, completion, transfer, and employment for over 80,000 Dallas College students.

Demonstrated understanding of the principles of program evaluation and learner outcome assessment.
Broad knowledge of internal and external resources available to support student success throughout the student experience.
Broad knowledge of online training platforms and technology used for teaching and learning.
Familiarity with relevant national policies, practices and legislation that relates to college admissions, pathway development and support, and case management.
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with stakeholders in a comparably dynamic and complex work environment with a proven track record of enhancing professional development focusing on student development; pathway development; academic advising; case management or success coaching and student success.
Appreciation of shared governance and evidence of strong ability to work effectively and collaboratively with administration, faculty, students, staff, and other constituent groups and partners, both within and outside a college or university setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills using collaboration, tact, patience, and courtesy.

Physical Requirements

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years’ experience in related field, i.e., education, teaching, learning and development, training and development, or student development or Associate’s degree with four (4) years of experience. Official transcripts will be required.
Two (2) years’ experience in social work or case management models and theory.
Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, tracking, and monitoring professional development participation and learner outcomes among various modalities.
Current and valid Texas driver’s license required.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the Case Management Studio’s Executive Director and Senior Manager to execute impactful professional development sessions and workshops.
Support the development and delivery of original curriculum, tools, presentations, and modules that align with the College’s strategic plan and priorities to build a culture of care, support student and employee success, and increase educational opportunities for all people, while prioritizing exceptional customer service.
Data and research operations, current training on emerging technologies that supports tracking and monitoring of student success outcomes.
Marketing of Case Management Studio services, social media and engagement strategies
Assess and evaluate case management professional development for training effectiveness and evidence of team member learning achievement.
Ensure that team members receive credit for completed professional development in collaboration with human resources.
Contribute to an online repository of case management professional development resources and materials.
Responsible for coordinating requests to participate in external professional development activities.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to coordinate specialized content and programming that align with professional development needs.
Prepare reports, proposals, and recommendations for professional development programs; keep detailed records of assigned activities.
Provide supplemental coaching support to staff by focusing and identifying individual and small group professional development needs as a follow-up to training.
Provide guidance and support to improve service quality through a variety of methods in alignment with the curriculum, e.g., monitoring data, focused conversation, collaborative planning, review of action plans, and providing professional development.
Completes required Professional Development training hours per academic year.
Performs other duties as assigned.
