Laser Engraver

we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laser Engraving Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laser engraving principles and be proficient in operating fiber laser systems, specifically the OmTech 50W model with a rotary shaft attachment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
• Operate the OmTech 50W fiber laser engraver safely and efficiently.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal engraving results on various materials (wood, acrylic, glass, metal, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the laser machine.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer:
• Provide comprehensive training on all aspects of laser engraving machine operation to the hiring manager.
• Share best practices for engraving on different materials, including business cards, bottles, and other items.
• Assist in developing engraving designs and optimizing them for laser cutting.
• Document all training procedures and create a knowledge base for future reference.
• Project Support:
• Assist with the production of laser-engraved products as needed.
• Explore new engraving techniques and applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating fiber laser engraving machines, with a strong preference for the OmTech 50W model.
• In-depth knowledge of laser engraving principles, materials, and safety procedures.
• Experience with rotary shaft attachments for cylindrical engraving.
• Experienced with LightBurn Software.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
