Do you have a passion for driving global manufacturing excellence and shaping the future of production technology? At Danfoss Power Solutions, we are looking for a Global Manufacturing Technology Director to take ownership of manufacturing capacity, investment planning, and system architecture for VPS Valves.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our global manufacturing capacity supports business growth and meets customer demands. You will lead investment planning and drive best-in-class manufacturing capabilities across multiple global production sites. This includes both physical manufacturing equipment and system architecture such as MES/MOM and PLM systems, ensuring alignment with digitalization, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
A key part of your role will be to develop and implement a long-term footprint roadmap that optimizes production efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring proximity to customers. You will also oversee capacity planning and capital expenditure projects that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance. Additionally, you will represent Global Operations in major new product development projects, ensuring manufacturability from concept to production.
As a leader, you will guide and develop a team of senior project leaders and subject matter experts while collaborating closely with plant directors and key stakeholders in a global, matrix organization. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders will be part of your strategy to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and talent development. Sustainability is also a critical focus area, ensuring that our manufacturing operations remain resilient and future-proof.

Background & Skills
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have
- Solid experience in operations and project management, preferably in a global setting.
- Senior leadership experience, with the ability to challenge plant directors and lead a global manufacturing technology roadmap.
- Deep knowledge of production technology and digitalization, including MES/MOM, PLM systems and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Strong Lean (DPP) expertise, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement.
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to driving change in a matrix organization.
