We are looking for a Quality engineer for our Hydraulic plant in Shawnee, Oklahoma, this position will be responsible to ensure that the project is rolled out according to our available procedures and that process are used in a relevant and effective manner. This position will act as quality point of contact for customer and project team members.
Job Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, quality, or a business-related field. Two years of additional experience in a technical, professional or managerial capacity in a position related to quality or manufacturing may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Statistical methods for quality improvement (Minitab), 8D and six sigma problem solving tools. production and process experience, computer knowledge
Experience with problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement processes is crucial. Successful for this position is to develop a collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Certified quality engineer designation preferred.

We are looking for a Quality engineer for our Hydraulic plant in Shawnee, Oklahoma, this position will be responsible to ensure that the project is rolled out according to our available procedures and that process are used in a relevant and effective manner. This position will act as quality point of contact for customer and project team members.
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing quality control plans and standards.
- Monitors audit defect trends, through Scrap, DMR, Warranty, and DPPM analyses and work with teams to correct deficiencies. Use 8D or six sigma problem solving tools.
- Develop systems and write work instructions for quality and warranty standards to be used in the production areas of the plant.
- Preparing and presenting quality reports.
- Collaborating with project teams and subcontractors.
- Overseeing tests of materials and workmanship.
- Implementing corrective actions for defects.
- Handling customer complaints
- Ensuring adherence to regulations and industry standards.
- Assists the quality inspectors and warranty personnel in all production and audit tasks. Establish practical systems, order hand tools needed to perform the job.
- Serves as a technical source for customers and divisional personnel on quality issues.
- Performs and delegates Cp – CpK and gage R&R studies in the plant. Six sigma improvement methods to satisfy customers.
- Trains new employees in Metrology and Quality expectations as part of New Employee Orientation.
- Design and perform studies to test and evaluate corrective action for continuous improvement @ Six Sigma levels.
- Support New Product and Part Process Change IQP activities in Quality Assurance.
- Approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) that are sent to customers and coordinate PPAP systems to assure compliance.
- Provide leadership and assesses job performance of subordinates.
