What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Director position at Darlington Memory Lane?
The Activities Director at our North Providence location will oversee the Activities Department.
Shift: 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday and holidays if needed.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive schedule of activities tailored to the needs and preferences of residents
- Plan and coordinate events that enhance socialization among residents
- Collaborate with Activities Assistant to ensure activities are safe, enjoyable, and accessible
- Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback
- Stay informed about best practices in dementia care
Experience
- Previous experience in an Activity Director role
- Background in assisted living, particularly with experience in dementia care
- Familiarity with social work principles
- Experience in event planning
- A compassionate approach combined with strong communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
