Position Purpose :
To exercise overall responsibility for managing, planning, scheduling, implementing, and reporting on the daily and special duties of the Security and Access Control Shop. The shop's responsibilities also include overseeing the sound / public address systems, centralized clocks, and scoreboards. This position supervises full-time employees, as well as numerous subcontractors hired for special projects or to perform services not provided by the College. The Security and Access Control Shop Supervisor is responsible for all the performance and management of security and access control related work performed at the College.
Description :
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp : High School plus 5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and be qualified under the terms of the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Ability to obtain professional certificates as required.
- Five years of management experience in security and access control.
- Ten years of varied, progressive security access experience, including development of access control protocols.
- Experience leading in a team environment preferred.
- Extensive experience in estimating, scheduling and managing multi-trade projects desired.
