Licensed Nursing Assistant Paid Apprenticeship - Applications will close on April 30,2025
- Paid classroom time.
- Apprentices are hospital employees from the start of the program as patient care attendants to be able to pick up shifts outside of classroom time.
- Apprentices receive 100% of their tuition paid, and are eligible for additional grant funding for support services like supplies, transportation, etc.
- Receive pay increases as they meet milestones throughout the program.
- Completion of the apprenticeship earns participants a National Occupational Credential through the Department of Labor.
- Following the successful completion of the apprenticeship program, apprentices will continue employment with Valley Regional Hospital as a fully qualified LNA.
- Participants will be required to make a one-year employment commitment to Valley Regional Hospital after completing the apprenticeship.
The Program
- 6 weeks of classroom instruction at River Valley Community College (RVCC).
- Preparation and eligibility to sit for the LNA national exam.
- Placement after classroom education into a position at Valley Regional Hospital.
