Role Description and Responsibilities
As a Strategy and Market Analyst you will provide market and competitive research to empower the strategy team to identify growth opportunities and support strategic initiatives. This role will focus on the Mainstream Innovation portfolio & SOLIDWORKS, and emerging technologies across design, manufacturing, data/AI, and online technologies. Expand your experience across exciting emerging technologies and work with a fun, passionate, and dynamic team!
1) Provide competitive intelligence on core competitors
2) Research growth industries and various technology sectors
3) Identify trends, market drivers, and new market segments for growth
4) Support strategic initiatives and team projects
Qualifications
* Bachelor's in Business and/or Engineering minimum - Master's degree preferred
* Strong English communication skills: 1) very strong writing skills; 2) verbally clear and concise
* Strong research skills, precise
* Ability to synthesize information from multiple data sets and identify patterns
* Positive, driven to learn, and highly self-motivated individual
* Ability to work independently, within a collaborative team structure, and across business groups
* Ability to adapt to changing work and project requirements
* Highly organized with critical attention to details
* Strong ability to organize research results in clear and meaningful ways
* Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* CAD and engineering software market familiarity
* Data analytics experience
* Market research experience
This is a 6 month paid internship with flexible start date. The opportunity is based in Waltham, MA. Hybrid work can be considered.
Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $20 and $33 per hour.
