Website Operations Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Website Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end website planning and implementation process. This role requires close collaboration across marketing and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of web technologies and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical SEO efforts to optimize website performance and drive organic traffic.
- Define and document detailed user requirements in collaboration with the business analyst for the development team.
- Review and test new website features to ensure alignment with requirements before deployment.
- Work with the engineering team to manage sprint planning and capacity, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of web content and features.
- Define the product roadmap and delivery schedule, balancing minimum viable product (MVP) goals with ongoing enhancements.
- Utilize data analytics and testing to drive decision-making and optimize website performance.
- Maintain and refine web governance, including monitoring alerts, prioritizing service tickets, and troubleshooting to minimize errors and downtime.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong cross-functional communication and project coordination skills.
- A mix of technical expertise and business acumen with a user-first approach to digital experiences.
- Experience working with enterprise web CMS platforms (Sitecore experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of content management, configuration, and deployment processes across UAT to live production environments.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 for data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing website translation, chatbot integration, customer reviews, personalization, and site optimization.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience managing website development within large cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with business leaders and key stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable plans.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $79.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
