Dave's Tree Service is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Tree Care Crew Foreman. In this role, you will paly a key part in maintaining and improving the health and appearance of trees on our clients' properties. If you are passionate about arboriculture and eager to grow in this field, this opportunity is perfect for you.
This is a full-time, year-round position with great career growth potential, based in Moore County, NC. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, allowing weekends for personal time, with no extensive travel required. We also offer educational opportunities, including TCIA - sponsored events and training.
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. After 90 days, employees become eligible for disability and life insurance, along with 7 paid holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew daily, ensuring safety is the top priority.
- Supervise, assign tasks, and actively participate in duties such as pruning, tree care, felling, and removal in rural, residential, and municipal areas.
- Maintain regular communication with sales and office staff.
- Foster a team environment to provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and logs, ensuring tools are in good working condition.
- Manage crew availability and provide on-the-job training for new climbers and lift operators.
- Preform tree rigging, both in the canopy and from the ground, using proper rope techniques.
- Operate tree care equipment including aerial lifts, mini skid steers, grapple trucks and loaders.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in tree cutting, both in the tree and on the ground, including climbing.
- Strong knowledge of proper pruning techniques, such as natural and directional pruning.
- Excellent physical fitness with ability to handle demanding task in various weather conditions.
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Strong communication skills and dedication to safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license required

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
