The Curriculum Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and executing multichannel marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, leads, retention, and conversions. This role involves analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to create targeted campaigns that reach the right audience at the right time. The Marketing Manager collaborates with various teams, including digital marketing, publishing, sales, creative, and finance, to ensure a seamless experience and a consistent brand message across all platforms including websites, social media, email, conferences, and print promotions.
In addition to strategy development, the Curriculum Marketing Manager closely monitors campaign performance using analytics tools to track key metrics and optimize campaigns in real-time. By leveraging data insights, they continuously refine strategies to improve ROI, boost customer acquisition, and increase brand loyalty. The role requires a strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media trends, and digital advertising, along with the ability to stay current with new technologies and best practices in the fast-evolving digital landscape. Creativity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of analytics are key to success in driving impactful digital marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate would be familiar with marketing directly to church leaders of children, youth, and/or adult ministries. Knowledge of Sunday school curriculum is preferred but not required. We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field required.
Experience: 5 years experience in marketing with prior marketing experience strongly preferred. The candidate must be adept at organizing/managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting timelines. They should possess a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into effective tactics. Candidates should be an expert in all forms of digital advertising. Excellent communications and people skills are a necessity. Experience with copywriting, graphic design, HTML, and video/audio editing are a bonus.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Specific knowledge of multichannel marketing strategies and tactics required. Social, email, and digital marketing experience are required. Experience in marketing direct to church leaders is preferred and/or a working knowledge of how different ministry areas withing the church utilize Sunday school curriculum as a discipleship tool.
