About the Opportunity:
Recruiting and HR Associate | $75-80k
David Zwirner is in search of a Recruiting and HR Associate to work within our HR team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related human resources function. This role demands exceptional organizational capabilities, a strategic mindset for managing multiple projects, and a keen eye for detail, all while fostering a collaborative environment that upholds our high standards.
What you’ll do:
- Recruiting and Onboarding:
- Work within our ATS to oversee the full cycle of recruiting and partner with managers and team leads. Handle the recruiting process from resume review to screenings, set up hiring manager interviews, check references/background checks, and assist with the hiring process.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires by preparing digital onboarding paperwork, coordinating onboarding meetings, conducting orientation sessions, introducing new hires to company policies and culture, and partnering with IT and Operations for equipment and access needs.
- Prepare offer letters and independent contractor agreements.
- Coordinate on-site meetings for new visiting staff members from other locations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff resources (employee directory and various trackers, as well as seating charts).
- Coordination:
- Assist with HR compliance requirements and tasks, and assist with maintaining personnel files and employee records.
- Handle general employee inquiries by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support:
- Support the HR team on various HR initiatives, internship program, administrative projects, and tasks including compliance documentation, verification of employment, etc.
What we would like you to have:
- 2-3 years of Human Resources or related experience, preferably in a gallery, museum, or comparable arts organization.
- Strategic thinking, exceptional interpersonal skills, self-motivated and solutions-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented, impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
