Job description
Primary Duties:
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Carry out all duties assigned by Director of Nursing in evaluating, planning, and implementing plans of care.
- Administer injections, distribute medications, take vital signs, collect samples, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
- Complete insurance reviews and pre-certifications, admissions and discharges.
- Observe and record patient’s symptoms, condition, and/or reactions to medications, treatments and report results to charge nurse/supervisor.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Maintain professional communications and interactions with clinical and support staff members.

Education / Experience:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nuese (RN) active license in the State of Pennsylvania.
Skills and Physical Requirements: required:
- Have good communication and interpersonal Skills and Physical Requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patient, families, and outside referral agencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in the client record.
- Ability to perform functions of LPN/RN in substance abuse setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged period of time on your feet
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Salary: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 – 46 per week
