What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping Attendant position at Days Inn By Wyndham?
General Purpose: To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and safe work environment. Must possess a strong sense of customer service, reliability, integrity, honesty, team spirit, and attention to detail.
This position reports to the housekeeping supervisor. Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, stripping and making beds, replacing gust towels and supplies, sweeping, mopping, dusting, empty trash, clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers, wipe down glass surfaces, replace in room guest supplies, clean and restock carts at end of shift. A basic understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and proper handling of soiled linen and trash. Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend. Requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to approximately 30 lbs. Weekends and holidays are required.
