The Manufacturing Manager plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, policy adherence, and optimized material usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce workplace safety.
- Oversee manufacturing activities and ensure production goals are met.
- Manage staff, schedules, and workflow.
- Optimize budget activities for efficiency and profitability.
- Develop policies and procedures with leadership.
- Hire, train, and assess staffing needs.
- Ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Oversee work order processes, scheduling, and material tracking in GSS.
- Monitor quality control, labor efficiency, and KPIs.
- Analyze financials, sales, and performance reports for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Manage shipping and receiving dashboards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with three years of industry experience or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and resource management skills.
- Expertise in customer service, HR, production, and financial principles.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in software applications and production systems.
- Strong communication and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (most 5-30 lbs.).
