Job Description
- Plans, develops and executes logistics program activities including maintenance; fielding support; manpower and personnel; supply support; support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging handling, storage, transportation and facilities.
- Performd full range of planning, liaison, and control of logistics phases of field exercises and tests.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes DoD 5000 Lifecycle Logistics activities including:
- Lifecyle Sustainment Plans and System Transition to Sustainment
- Line-Item Number (LIN) Development
- Product Support Arrangements
- Material Release Process
- Material Fielding Plan
- Basis of Issue Planning (BOIP) Feeder Data (BOIP-FD)
- Type Classification
- Configuration Management Plan
- Core Logistics Assessment
- Develops and coordinates life-cycle plans, technical documentation, assesses operational requirements and provisions, and prepares independent reports
- Develops and coordinates new equipment training/long range planning equipment fielding/sustainment strategy including plans and analysis of all engineering specific logistics support.
- Manages the implementation of logistics plans and records to support systems fielding and/or major modifications.
Qualifications:
- 7 years’ experience in logistics and supply support within C4ISR systems and platforms
- Expert in planning DoD 5000 Acquisitions
- DAWAI Certified in Lifecycle Logistics (preferred)
- Experience with Army Standard Supply System and logistics processes
- Experience logistics support functions and automated support systems
- Experience with, training, maintenance and personnel support planning logistics documentation, and supply management
Active DoD Secret Clearance
