Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations by managing administrative tasks, assisting with bill payments, receiving payments and ensuring smooth communication within the office. This position requires a motivated, organized individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Office is a small, friendly and casual environment in Dickson City, PA - just outside of Scranton.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including entering vendor/supplier invoices, processing payments, and other bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare and process records for accounting department.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records in accounting software such as Excel and QUICKBOOKS.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
- Handle correspondence, both written and verbal, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
Skills
- Experience with QUICKBOOKS, Excel, and WORD
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with team members.
