Salary Range: $26.22 - $31.46 / hour

Responsibilities:      

• Develop and modify as necessary individual specific diet plans.
• Create menus for DDI personnel to follow.
• Participates as appropriate in training of DDI personnel on menus, diet plans, and modified diets.
• Participates in IDT conferences as required.
• Completes monthly and annual nutrition summaries.
• Ensures compliance with OMRDD regulatory standards.
• Liaison with facility nurse regarding nutrition issues.
• Routine observations on at least a quarterly basis of mealtimes for individuals with modified diets to ensure staff competency of meal preparation and diet appropriateness.
• Ensure Provision of nutritionally adequate and acceptable quality food.
• Ensure standards for sanitation, safety, and security in food preparation and service.

Qualifications: 

• N.Y. State Registered Dietician’s License required
• N.Y.  State Driver’s License preferred
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred
• Experience with ID/DD preferred
