Fern Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Manager to oversee the care and daily activities of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves supervising staff, providing assistance with daily living tasks, and ensuring the well-being of individuals in a supportive, home-like environment. You will supervise the activities of assigned personnel in maintaining an environment which is conducive to the individuals' development of increased functioning and overall quality of life. The Home Manager will assume responsibility for the overall operation of the program.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities for individuals in a residential setting.
• Assist individuals with personal care, daily living tasks, and meal preparation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment and report any health or safety concerns.
• Lead recreational activities and provide transportation as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily observations, incidents, and health reports.
• Monitor individuals’ progress and ensure compliance with Behavioral Support Plans.
• Manage staff performance, conduct staff reviews, and assist in staff training and hiring.
• Comply with all regulatory and agency procedures.
