Responsibilities as a Staffing Coordinator:
- Oversee all staffing needs of the facility
- Liaison with recruiting to fill vacancies to meet census demand
- Print out and update daily staffing schedules
- Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions
- Manage and record time off requests and track employee absenteeism
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
- Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
Requirements for a Scheduler:
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working with staffing and scheduling preferred; preferably within a health care setting
- Excellent telephone, communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
- LPN License is preferred
