Job Description
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking skilled CDL Laborers for our highway maintenance crew. CDL technicians will conduct various highway maintenance services and other related tasks under close supervision. We are seeking a qualified applicant that will train in highway / roadway routine maintenance.
Schedule : 4-day work week- Monday- Thursday.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
- May operate various forms of heavy highway equipment
- With equipment cleans and grades ditches, drainage structures, highway road shoulders, slopes
- Repair work includes repair of fences, sign repair, litter debris removal, and other highway maintenance activities, including emergency response.
- Use all equipment safely
- Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
- Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
- Assist in storm cleanup.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
- Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
