Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Assist in the implementation of curriculum and lesson plans designed by lead teachers.
- Support students in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
- Provide individualized support to students, particularly those with autism or other special education needs.
- Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to lead teachers on individual performance.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to discussions about student development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes is a plus.
- Experience or training in special education is highly desirable.
