DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting with an understanding of basic bookkeeping. Work experience in the foundational skills needed to support the accounts receivable department. Need to be able to work well with others, good customer service skills, communication skills, computer skills and strong typing skills, financial literacy and math skills. Strong Attention to detail and accuracy.
Duties
- Maintaining financial records
- Running Reports
- Recording transactions
- Preparing statements and paperwork
- Handling communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments, drivers and salespeople.
- Assisting with inventory, database, and record maintenance
- Month end and quarterly reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency in 10 key-typing for efficient data entry.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with accounting software is preferred.
- Experience with journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in phone etiquette, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Background and drug test required prior to employment.
