The Maintenance Tech is an integral part the team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. You are responsible for a full range of duties in an interdisciplinary environment including:
Maintenance Technician will perform the following job duties:
- Preform general maintenance work as needed to include< installation and repair of plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs
- Promptly responds to emergency, notifying immediate supervisor as required
- Functions as an effective member of the team by completing and documenting assignments in a timely, accurate, and caring manner.
- Ensure that walls, floor coverings, doors and woodwork are properly maintained.
- Repair and maintain vacant rooms
- Effectively collaborates with other team members to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the workplace.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and one to three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills required.
- Experience in a health care setting is a plus
- HVAC knowledge is preferred
