What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community?

Nestled on 125 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Deerfield is an outstanding senior living community with a resort-like atmosphere. Our Groundskeepers are an important part of maintaining the beauty of our community and we have an opportunity for a full-time team member now. Hours are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday with periodic opportunity for weekend work. Your workday would include daily grounds work, mowing, weeding, pruning, snow removal, and plant installation, all designed to make our campus look its best.
Skills you'll bring to the role include:
Past experience using a Bobcat Skid Steer
Good plant and tree identification and chemical applications
Focus on safety, service and great attention to detail
Dependability and ability to work independently
Minimum of 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance/plant care
