Position: Quality Assurance Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support testing and validation of software solutions in alignment with business and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret business and contract requirements, supporting vendors in refining stable, testable requirements.
Collaborate with business testers to verify User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and ensure alignment with business needs.
Validate that all requirements are sufficiently detailed and testable; work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and vendors to ensure accuracy.
Provide training to business testers on Jira for UAT tracking and execution.
Troubleshoot UAT-related issues and assist in resolution.
Author and verify UAT scripts, creating additional scenarios as needed in collaboration with SMEs and module vendors.
Analyze new business processes and ensure they are translated into testable requirements across systems.
Track and manage defects throughout the UAT cycle; coordinate with testers to validate fixes and close defects.
Maintain an organized list of enhancement requests identified during UAT.
Confirm that all testers have the necessary access to UAT environments prior to testing.
Review vendor test plans and documentation, providing feedback and contributing as needed.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and fulfillment of customer requirements.
Take ownership of all UAT deliverables, documentation, and test reports.
Provide strong customer service and demonstrate excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Suite, and ALM tools; Jira experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to structure data logically for reporting and documentation.
Capable of conducting research, planning, and managing work assignments independently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and non-technical audiences and management levels.
Hands-on experience in SIT, regression, and user acceptance testing practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and pragmatic, with disciplined follow-through.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in requirement elicitation through interviews, documentation, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process mapping, and use case analysis.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Certified Contract Manager
ISTQB Foundation or ISTQB Advanced Test Manager
