Position Overview

As an Electrical Foreman, you will report to the Project Superintendent and lead a team of electricians. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet code requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.

This role requires a proven leader with technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate and manage teams in the field.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Project Leadership & Execution

• Oversee and manage daily electrical operations on active construction sites.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of electricians, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Maintain productivity while working hands-on with tools as needed to meet project goals.

✅ Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance

• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide efficient on-site resolutions.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety regulations, and company quality standards.

✅ Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with supervisors and field teams.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to prevent project delays.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of experience in electrical contracting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Extensive knowledge of the NEC, electrical systems, and construction safety standards.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Procore, MS Project preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor construction sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
