Channel Partner Program Manager, Pricing Analyst
Rate: $60-$65/hour, W2, Ongoing Consulting Contract
Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with 20 years of experience delivering consulting services to global technology leaders, is seeking a strategic and data-driven Channel Partner Program Manager, Pricing Analyst to drive the evolution of our client’s software and SaaS monetization models.
This individual will lead the development and optimization of scalable pricing strategies and discount programs to support growth, customer acquisition, and long-term profitability. The work will impact everything from understanding and partnering with the Business Unit on how new features and packages are priced, to how programmatic discounts and approvals are operationalized for enterprise deals, trials, usage expansion, and renewals.
This is a highly cross-functional role that collaborates with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to ensure pricing drives value across customer segments and go-to-market motions. The Channel Partner Program Manager will be responsible for defining and operationalizing scalable pricing models and programmatic discount structures for resellers, distributors, and technology partners.
This individual will work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Finance, Product, Legal, and RevOps to ensure partner pricing is competitive, margin-optimized, and aligned with company growth goals. Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable partner pricing structures for different partner tiers and routes-to-market (resellers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), OEMs, etc.)
• Develop and manage programmatic discount models and approval workflows (e.g. volume-based, usage-based, performance-based discounts)
• Analyze partner performance data to optimize incentives, discount bands, and revenue impact
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure pricing models align with margin targets and forecast accuracy
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to codify discount policies and guardrails
• Develop and manage pricing models for SaaS subscriptions, usage-based offerings, and perpetual software licensing where applicable
• Design programmatic discount frameworks across customer types, contract terms, and deal structures (e.g. ramp pricing, prepaid, multi-year incentives)
• Analyze discounting trends and price realization using Salesforce, CPQ, and BI tools to optimize pricing strategy and enforce compliance
• Support product launches and packaging decisions with competitive research, elasticity modeling, and monetization testing
• Create clear pricing documentation and training to align internal teams on strategy and execution
• Maintain a strong pulse on industry benchmarks, competitive intelligence, and customer willingness-to-pay
• Drive pricing and discount experiments with A/B testing and track success metrics
• Work closely with Finance on forecasting, margin analysis, and financial modeling for different pricing and discount scenarios
Who You Are:
• 5 years of experience in channel/partner programs for SaaS pricing strategy, monetization, revenue operations, or finance
• Strong understanding of subscription pricing, tiered packaging, usage-based billing, and enterprise discounting dynamics
• Proven experience with designing partner discount frameworks and pricing models
• Strong financial acumen and ability to model complex pricing scenarios
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• Ability to translate financial and customer insights into executable pricing and discount strategy
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and storytelling skills
• Bonus: Experience with pricing automation, quote-to-cash systems, or pricing experimentation platforms
